In September 2019, the International Department of China Pharmaceutical Equipment Association (China Pharmaceutical Machinery Association) organized a "Vietnam Pharmaceutical Equipment Market delegation", led by Secretary-General Chen Husheng, to central and southern Vietnam for a four-day inspection visit.

Representatives from 9 association units in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Chongqing and other places visited representative Vietnamese pharmaceutical factories for several days, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges with factory executives, technical personnel and industry partners. During the period, they also paid a special visit to the Vietnam Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Exhibition (Autumn), and observed the current situation of Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry closely.
